Twende Sokoni is a Kenyan e-commerce platform founded in 2025 with a simple mission: to make shopping accessible to everyone, everywhere in Kenya. Our name, which means "Let's go to the market" in Swahili, reflects our commitment to bringing the marketplace to your doorstep.
Our Beginning
Twende Sokoni was born out of a simple observation: while urban centers in Kenya had access to various shopping options, many Kenyans in smaller towns and rural areas had limited access to quality products at fair prices.
Our founders, a group of tech enthusiasts and retail experts, saw an opportunity to bridge this gap using technology. What started as a small delivery service in Nairobi has grown into a nationwide platform serving thousands of customers across Kenya.
